A LAWYER’S PRIMER ON DRAFTING ARBITRATION CLAUSES FOR DOMESTIC ARBITRATION
January 29th, 2019:
Lunch & Learn with Kenneth J. Glasner.
“The emphasis of the session will be to recognize pitfalls in drafting arbitration clauses so that if a dispute proceeds to arbitration the arbitrator will not be faced with a pathological clause leading to an unexpected and undesirable result at the end of the day. We will canvass a list of do's and don’t's, reference material, and a possible handout for consideration by the drafter. Emphasis will be placed on domestic arbitration although if time permits we can deal with drafting issues for international arbitration. We may have a short session on questions and answers.”
